"Ow!" you yelled as you burnt your hand on a hot pan. You quickly placed down the pan on the counter. "I shouldn't have done that..." you looked at your burnt hand and sighed. Out of nowhere Chopper came running into the kitchen "Are you OK (y/n)?! I heard you scream!" You looked over at him and smiled "Yeah I'm fine Chopper...I just burnt my hand." Chopper walked over to you and looked at your hand "Your not fine (y/n)! I'm going to put some medicine on it, now you sit down over on that chair."

You sighed again and sat down on the chair. Luffy then came into the kitchen and looked over at you " What are you doing (y/n)?" You looked over at him "I burnt my hand and Chopper wants to put medicine on it...." Luffy sat down in front of you and watched as Chopper put the medicine on your burn " How did you burn your hand?"

You pointed over to where the pan was with your good hand "I was making a cake and when I took it out I accidentally burnt my hand on the pan...."

Luff y's eyes widened and smiled "Cake?" he looked over at the cake and walked over to it. You nodded your head as you looked at Chopper " Yeah a cake, I'm making it fo-" you looked over at where Luffy was and saw he was eating the cake.

"LUFFY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" you yelled and started to walk over to him. Luffy got scared and ran out of the kitchen.

"Damn it! He's going to be here soon...I can't make another cake." Chopper walked over to you and picked up the pan that Luffy dropped on the floor when he ran "Who was the cake for anyway?" You took the pan and placed it back on the counter and you started to blush a little "I-It's just for someone I like is all..."

You looked down sadly and then heard the door open again "Well I can help you with the cake then if you want." Your eyes widened as you heard the voice behind you. You turned around and saw Sanji standing there " U-umm...no it's fine you don't have to help Sanji and I would really like it if I made it myself."

Sanji smiled sweetly at you "Oh come on (y/n)~!" he walked up closer to you "If you really like this boy you should give it to him before he comes in here and having two people helps out a lot." You looked away blushing more "B-But..."

Sanji cut you off by pressing his finger to your lips "No buts (y/n), I'm helping~" You sighed and nodded "OK....you can help." Sanji smiled and hugged you tightly "OK then let's get started!"

Chopper smiled at the two of you "Well I'm going to go then...don't hurt yourself again (y/n). Have fun!" then he left the kitchen.

Sanji let go of you and walked over to counter. He gathered all the ingredients to make the cake and placed them in front of himself. You walked over to the left side of him and started to help him mix all the ingredients together.

40 minutes later....

The cake was now almost ready and you was trying to chop up some strawbarry's to put on top of it. You sighed and put down the knife "How hard is it to just cut up strawberry's...."

Sanji heard you sighing from the other side of the kitchen as he was making the icing for the cake. He looked at you and started to walk up behind you. He then grabbed the knife "Here I'll help you" and out of nowhere he put the knife back in your hand as he put his hand on top of yours, then got behind you pressing his chest up agents your back and laying his chin on your shoulder so he could see.

Your heart started to beat rapidly as Sanji pressed he's chest on your back. You looked at him in the corner of your eye as a dark shade of red appeared on your face.

He looked at you and smiled sweetly "Is something wrong (y/n)?"

You looked away quickly "N-No I'm fine...." Sanji was a little confused but looked back down at the strawberry's and started to show you how to cut them.

When you was finally down with the strawberry's the cake was done as well. You smiled and walked over to the oven, this time putting oven mits on, and took out the finished cake putting it on the counter.

Luffy opened up the door slightly and peeked inside. Sanji saw Luffy at the door and walked over to it slamming the door in his face then locked the door "That will keep him out for a while."

You giggled lightly "Yeah, let's start decorating the cake." Sanji smiled at you and nodded.

5 minutes later....

You were both now done decorating the cake. You smiled and looked over at Sanji who was cleaning the dishes.

You quickly got a piece of paper and wrote Happy Birthday Sanji on it. You laid it next to the cake and walked over to the door unlocking it and the walked out of the kitchen.

You claimed up to the crows nest and hide there so Sanji wouldn't find you. When you finally sat down you heard the door to the kitchen open.

"(y/n)!" you heard Sanji yelling for you. You peeked out to see him looking everywhere for you. Then you looked back over to the kitchen door seeing Luffy about to walk into the kitchen.

"Luffy! Don't you dare go in there!!" Sanji was walking back over to the kitchen glaring at Luffy. Luffy's eyes widened and he ran away.

Sanji then sighed and walked back into the kitchen closing the door behind him. You smiled and sat back down looking up at the sky waiting for it to become dark.

6 hours later....

It was now 9 P.M. and everyone was now asleep. You claimed down from the crows nest and walked over to the stairs where there was a black curtain hang in on the side of the stairs.

You pulled the curtain to the side and walked up under the stairs to see a hammock hunger up under it. You smiled and laid down in the hammock closing your eyes. Then you heard someone pull the curtain to the side and walk under the stairs.

You opened your eyes slightly but not enough for the person there to see that they are opened. Your heart started to beat fast as you see that it was Sanji standing above you looking down at you. "Oh....she's asleep." he leaned over you to look at your face closer.

You could feel his breath on your skin and you started to blushing lightly. He then moved closer to you and lightly kissed you on the cheek "Thank you for the cake (y/n)....I wish I could have got something else for my birthday."

He then started to leave, but you grabbed onto his shirt sleeve "Like what?"

He turned back around and looked at you, he laughed lightly and walked up closer to you "Maybe a kiss."

You blushed badly and looked away from him "I thought you would ask that from Nami...besides you don't even flirt with me like you do with her and Robin...."

Sanji grabbed your chin and made you look at him "So you never thought that I thought you was beautiful huh?" You looked into his eyes and nodded, he then smiled at you "I don't really know why I didn't flirt with you when you came onto the ship. I thought was even more beautiful then both of them I guess I just thought you was different and I really didn't want you to hate me like Nami does when I flirt with her."

You smiled and pulled him into a hug "Thanks for telling me that Sanji."

He smiled and hugged you back "So I can have that kiss now?" You laughed and pulled away from him "Maybe~!" Sanji smirked and pulled you into a long sweet kiss. You wrapped your arms around his neck turning the kiss into a loving passionately kiss. Sanji smiled into the kiss and he ran his finger through your (h/l) (h/c). Nether of you wanted to brake the kiss but you both pulled away to catch some air.

He looked into your (e/c) eyes and smiled "I still have that cake you know...want to go eat some?"

You nodded "Yeah, hopefully Luffy didn't want a midnight snack tonight." Sanji laughed lightly and helped you out of the hammock "Yeah true..." and you both walked out from under the stairsand walked up to the kitchen door. He opened the door to the kitchen for you and you walked inside, he then walked in after you.

You both then saw Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper already eating half of the cake. You sighed lightly as you saw Sanji getting mad at them and started to chase them around the room "Well at least I had one sweet thing...." you then blushed lightly as you remembered the kiss.

You turned around and left the kitchen to let Sanji chase them as you went back under the stairs to go to sleep.
